212 viewsSunset at the luau, which was next to Black Rock (I recommend the snorkeling there...I even saw a moray eel that was at least 4' long!).

Day 4211 viewsSpent the day looking around. Went north to try some snorkeling. Just a scenery shot of the variety of greens of the land. Very different from Hwy 30. Just an example of the terrain differences that make Maui wonderful.

211 viewsA and some of the other women getting splashed by the boat forcing water into a hole in the cliff. Captain Dave was great -- good (but sometimes corny) sense of humor, excellent seamanship and boat handling, and excellently choreographed music pertaining to the locations we visited.

209 viewsI'm embarassed to show the underwater life pictures (and threw many away) but I wanted to show some sense of what it's like. The visibility was over 30' and marine life was abundant and colorful.

209 viewsSean Paul Kinney was one of the deckhands (and budding childrens author) on the snorkeling trip and was great company. We had some drinks at Cool Cats (spelling?) and then enjoyed dinner at the Aloha Mixed Plate restaurant. Here he is making recommendations. Another fine example of the great people we met during our visit.
