Laundry, linen, spare bedroom and second bath are to the right of the kitchen/dining rooms. There is no A/C so cooling is done by opening the sliding glass doors and adjusting the large-slatted blinds found in the kitchen and spare bedroom. Luckily, there are adjustable ceiling fans as well.

Day 6371 viewsThe Road to Hana! Based upon the recommendation of my parents, we took the Valley Isle Excursions tour van and are VERY glad we did. It's a VERY narrow road - with only room for one vehicle in many locations (beep your horn!) - and too much to see. Our driver was Maui native Kekoa (Kekeoa?) and had a great sense of humor and exceptional knowledge of the region. He also had a 1957 Type I (Bug) and drag raced a 600+hp Bug at one time so we had plenty to talk about.
