346 viewsThis shows the stock locating pin on the hi-riser. Because the banjo fittings on the hand controls interfered with the gauge cluster I couldn't use the stock positions -- bummer! So I removed the locating pins and rotated the clip-ons backward a couple millimeters. My clip-ons are butted up against the upper triple. I also had to adjust my left steering stop so my horn button wouldn't press against the tank so my left turning radius is slightly less than my right.

346 viewsVented EVR pressure plate mounted and springs/spring caps installed. In a star pattern, screw the bolts all the way down until they stop, THEN you continue the star pattern to torque them down. I placed the EVR logo at about the 4 o'clock position and then torqued the bolts, allowing the cap to rotate and thus line up neatly. It did take several tries.

346 viewsAdd a new zip-tie to secure the headlight cables snugly, NOT TIGHTLY. Now the headlight can be mounted to the two lower anti-vibration mounts and the acorn nuts snugged. Done!

345 viewsThe rear suspension is twist-tied to the exhaust. Delicate procedure to remove it. I didn't see its purpose. The rear stand is 100% functional.

345 viewsWhen putting the female part of the switch onto the male part, make sure the sliding contact doesn't catch on the electrical pads on the female piece. Use a scribe or small, flat screwdriver blade to hold it down as you slide the female part on.

345 viewsJust after sunset. At the time I took these pictures it was brighter out than what appears in the images. The LEDs are bright enough to the camera that it used a faster shutter speed, thus making the image look darker than it really is.

Bubba Gumps344 viewsWe had to hit our favorite local shrimp restaurant! It was odd to be in Maui and have the streets so deserted -- I liked it! During our first visit here (in 2007) the town was very busy.
