Day 3401 viewsLiving/dining room and kitchen view. Behind kitchen was front door. To the left is the master suite w/balcony. Laundry, linen, spare bedroom and second bath are to the right of the kitchen/dining rooms. There is no A/C so cooling is done by opening the sliding glass doors and adjusting the large-slatted blinds found in the kitchen and spare bedroom. Luckily, there are adjustable ceiling fans as well.

Through the rubber cover401 viewsThe following is the method I used on the left side after trying the right side by using the hard cover (described after this procedure). This is SO much easier to install and route wires, however, you MUST make sure you seal the gasket to the rubber boot so as to keep water out. I personally think this is the best way to do it with the kit I used.

I used a scrap piece of cardboard, cut in a 7/8" diameter circle, and traced the back side of the low beam rubber cover using a permanent marker.

401 viewsWhat the interior looks like. I set the mirror so it was centered in the housing. I started at the 11 o'clock position and worked my way anti-clockwise (aka counter-clockwise), gently prying the mirror clips away from the ring mount.
